How to determine apples from oranges debt consolidation programs and what works best for you

Life is a b*tch but we all know that so might as well stop whining. Or so they say. So you have financial problems. Well, you’re not alone there. Everyone’s got one. Except for Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie, may be. But since we can’t trade places, we’re stuck with our financial worries. You go over the list of solutions you made and hit upon debt consolidation. Well, that’s a good idea. But there are several debt consolidation programs made available by companies and it’s best to know which one you want in particular before you can get started.

You see, choosing from the debt consolidation programs available for you is just like choosing what car you like for yourself. Your bank has loaned you money to buy yourself wheels but it’s not enough to buy something that’s cool now. You have to choose something that will match yourself, something that’s practical and will last all the way.

The first step in choosing from the list of debt consolidation programs you’re given is to first know if debt consolidation is indeed right for you. Debt consolidation is like letting another person shoulder your burdens. But things like that don’t come for free so you have to know if you’re up to the task. The variety of programs will simply help you choose what course you want to take as you go along.

Now, if the specialist of debt consolidation programs has given you the go ahead, the next step to take is talking about your financial history. Just how much debt are you in, for example. The level of indebtedness you’re in will help determine what you choose from the list of debt consolidation programs that the company has. It will give the specialist an idea about just how much there is to pay off and if you’re capable of truly doing so with a little extra help. Then there’s your income level. This is an important factor also in choosing from the debt consolidation programs you have at your disposal. Your income level will help the specialist know just how much you can afford to pay every month. Now, when choosing what among the debt consolidation programs made available to you is perfect, the specialist or expert would always ask you for your opinion. This is because ultimately, everything will boil down to what you want. But if you don't have a clue, don’t worry because these experts know a lot of creditors so they can just take the steering wheel if you don’t care to drive and do things for you their own way.

One good thing, however, that all debt consolidation programs have in common is that you don’t have to personally deal anymore with your creditors. All debt consolidation programs make sure that you are not in any way pestered by phone calls about the loans you failed to pay off for the past three months or letters from your bank manager. This is something to rejoice because without those nagging calls, you’re free to worry about other things, like earning more money.

So remember, choosing among the debt consolidation programs made available to you is a very important task. Spend time going over it with your specialist, researching about it over the Internet and asking your friends for their opinions. As they say, better safe than sorry.

Stag party in birmingham have fun before the wedding

:
Bachelor parties in Birmingham – you can’t go wrong

I know what you’re thinking, but if you’ve never been, Birmingham is not a rat-infested, polluted pile of rubbish full of concrete buildings no one would want to visit. Cast those preconceived notions out the door for your own good! Do it now if you’re trying to come up with a stag party location you and your buddies will never want to leave.

If you think Birmingham isn’t a good place to visit, you’ve got it all wrong. Why the unfair reputation? Sure, the architecture isn’t the greatest, but who goes to a stag or bachelor party to take in the local scenery? (Unless “scenery” also includes the local lasses). Birmingham is the perfect place for a stag do – a thriving cosmopolitan centre oozing with the best in pubs, nightlife, clubs, eateries, music, fashion, crazy locals – you name it! Immerse yourself in the local culture and the local beauties and you will soon find out just how wrong you were.

Birmingham is a city – the UK’s second largest – that loves to party and have a good time. If you haven’t put this place on your to-do list (ahem, no pun intended) write it down right now before it’s too late – you’ve been missing out on the non-stop party scene that comes with every big city.

Colourful and full of new experiences, entertainment, and people at every turn you’ll never sink into a stupor of boredom in this vibrant town. Delve into the modern and mainstream or sink your teeth into the alternative scene. Whatever floats your boat, mate. No judgment here. If you want to discuss the “fine” art of lap dancing over a pint of lip-smackingly good beer go ahead. Or if spending an afternoon paintballing with your friends before heading on over to the local pub is more to your liking do what you please. Compliments of Birmingham, of course.

Shops, cafes, parks and monuments are all over the place so from morning till late, late at night your brain, your eyes, your taste buds, your ears, and your nostrils will all receive more stimulation than one person can handle. And there are so many canals Birmingham has got Venice beat!

For a crazy stag party in Birmingham start off in the Arcadia Centre and then move on to some famous Wharfside Street institutions to end off the night in proper fashion. Down some spicy curry at one of the many curry houses scattered around town and top it all off with whatever you want – all for a reasonable price.

Getting your blog indexed and more exposure

A blog is defined as a website that contains information, comments, thoughts and links by a writer. A blog can be a very personal site for writers looking to express their innermost personal thoughts or can be very general. Blog indexing means that blogs are listing on cross Internet searches and search engine sites. There are special sites that lists blogs that makes them easy to find for readers

When you first start writing a blog, it is usually because you have something you want to express. If you choose to share your blogging thoughts, you will want a steady stream of readers for your blog to be successful. More exposure to your web blog means more readers. Blog exposure is important and one way to get this type of exposure is through blog indexing.

Readers can find a blog about almost any topic in the world and in any language. A blog index helps readers find what kind of blog they are most interested in reading. Some blog indexing sites list several different topics to choose from and then list blogs that relate to a particular topic. For blog writers this can mean increased exposure to a blog site.

Blog indexing can also include indexing your blog pages within your site. When you add an entry to your blog, it will be included with a link on your site. Keeping these links can help readers go back and read your past entries. Many times, when you include certain keywords within your blog writing, a search engine can also pull up your past blog entries. This makes it easy for your readers to catch up with current entries as well.

Web searching through blog indexing is very beneficial. You can have the option whether or not to include searches to your site. When a blog is indexed, it helps readers easily locate your site. If you do not index your site, it still may be found using a search engine; however, the link will be blank if the entry is old or if you have removed it for whatever reason. Indexing your pages and including searches to your blog site means that a reader can enter your blog they are looking for and produce results.

When you get ready to index your blog pages and implement searches, there are few tips that can help readers easily locate your entries. One easy top is to keep your page noticeable. This means that you want to keep your search options easily accessible for your reader. Also, enter your blog on as many search engines sites that you’re possible can. Many search engines sites such as Google and Yahoo have steps you can use to enter your web site on their search engine. This process may take a couple of weeks, but it is well worth it if you are interested in more exposure through your blog.

Another way to increase the traffic on your blog with indexing and searching, make sure all of your links works. Check your links often and make sure that they are leading your readers to your site or to where you want them directed. Also, if you change your web blog location, you will need to update your search engines or include a link from your old site to your new site. If a reader clicks on your link to get to your blog and finds that it is no good, chances are that they will not attempt to find your location.

You can also increase traffic to your blog site by using a blog-hosting site that is easy to use and that offers features such as searches and indexing. There are many blog sites that are available to those that want to blog, but some may not offer the type of features you want to use. If you choose to keep your blog personal and private, then you will not need to worry about indexing or entering your blog on a search engine.

Blogging can be a great way to share your writing with others. In order to make sure that you have the maximum amount of exposure to your blog consider indexing and search engines. This can help readers easily locate your blog and will help them locate interesting entries in the future.

Sherman oaks ca - relocation information

:
Sherman Oaks

Sherman Oaks is a 8.1-square-mile district of Los Angeles in the southern San Fernando Valley. The neighborhood is roughly bounded by Studio City to the east, Van Nuys to the north, Encino to the west and the Santa Monica Mountains to the south.

Sherman Oaks is part of the city of Los Angeles.

Sherman Oaks is a fairly affluent area, with several high-end fashion boutiques in the area, and features many upscale houses and restaurants.

Attractions

Sherman Oaks' main claim to fame is as home of the Sherman Oaks Galleria, a shopping mall identified as a meet-up place for the Valley girls, a 1980s cultural label which became widely known because of the 1983 movie Valley Girl and a song of the same name by Frank Zappa. As time went on though, the Galleria became less prominent, and was closed in 2002 to be re-developed into an office complex. Today, many go shop at two other malls in the area, including the Westfield Fashion Square, as well as an assortment of boutiques and restaurants located throughout Ventura Boulevard.

Economy

Anticipating the development of the Los Angeles Aqueduct in 1913, Los Angeles Suburban Homes Co. purchased 47,500 acres (192 kmІ) of the southeast Valley in 1910. In 1911, a subdivision map called Tract 1000 was filed with Los Angeles County. From that parcel, one of the partners in the company, General Moses Hazeltine Sherman, bought 1,000 acres (4 kmІ) for himself. In 1927, Sherman subdivided the property and sold the land for $780 an acre ($0.19/mІ).

Well balanced moms have more fun

Or should I say “Well Balanced Moms Are More Fun”? Let me ask you… When was the last time you had lunch with some girl friends, or went on a girl’s night out? When was the last time you went on a romantic weekend getaway with your spouse? If you can’t remember, we definitely have to talk.

It’s so easy to fall into the mommy guilt trap. We feel guilty if we take time for ourselves, so we end up taking care of everyone in the family but us. It’s easy to lose ourselves in the quest to become SuperMom. Along the way we get stressed out and aggravated. It’s important to do something just for us to stay balanced moms. Here are some ways for you to get started on your journey to rediscover YOU.

Get together with some girlfriends. One of the best ways to rediscover yourself is to spend some time with your girlfriends each week. Have lunch together, go to the movies to watch the latest chick flick, or plan a girl’s night out every once in a while.

If you are having a bad day, call one of your girlfriends to vent, or just chat. You’ll be surprised how much better you feel and how it puts things back in perspective that seemed like the end of the world a few minutes ago.

Spend a romantic weekend with your spouse – anywhere but at home. Go away for a romantic weekend with your spouse a few times a year. Rekindle your passion for each other and feel in love again, instead just partners in dealing with the everyday “stuff’ involved in raising kids.

Go on a date every week. Get a sitter once a week and go on a date with your significant other. Spend some time reconnecting with each other. If you have an activity that you both enjoy, take a class together.

Pamper Yourself. Do something every week to pamper yourself. Go get a new haircut. Visit your favorite nail saloon for a manicure, pedicure or to get your nails done. Call your favorite day spa and schedule a facial. Get a massage.

If you are on a budget, pamper yourself at home. Send Dad and the kids to the park. Take a hot bubble bath and paint you toenails. Honey makes a quick facial. Place a cloth in warm water and apply to your face to open the pores. Smear on honey, and leave on for 15 to 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

Don’t feel guilty about taking time for yourself a few times a week. Your kids will appreciate it when they get a balanced and fun mom in return. You will be more relaxed, happier and actually be able to enjoy your family. After all, that’s why you had kids in the first place, didn’t you?

Why you need to buy a rug

So, why buy a rug. Well there are many reasons why you should want to choose one and no matter how little you have to spend you should be able to pick something up from a store or carpet dealer and the variety is staggering although you will be limited with less expensive rugs.

So let’s look at some of the reasons you may want a rug on your floor. Well my number one reason for using rugs is to hide the wear and tear that carpets get with everyday use. Just think about it, when you walk across a room you usually take the same path and this helps to wear out a carpet or leaves it dirtier than the surrounding carpet and cleaning all the carpet only highlights what bits of it were dirty in the first place, well at least I think so.

You may also have a damaged carpet or one that is likely to get damaged. The favorite here is log fires which are always spitting out hot embers. A rug in front of the fire helps protect it. Eventually you will have to throw out the rug but buying a new rug is a lot cheaper and easier than buying a new carpet.

One of the other reasons you may want a rug is to highlight a wooden floor. Having a wood covered floor is great but a rug can accentuate the wood and draws the eye to the floor so people can really see what your floor looks like. Another reason why you may want a rug on this type of floor is to cut down noise which a rug is great for.

A rug can also be a focal point in a room drawing the eye to the rug and making a statement about you or your tastes. On the other hand a tasteless rug can also make a statement about you and your fashion sense so always be careful when choosing a rug as a rug can often say a lot more about you than you may like.

A couple of other reasons for using a rug are its something great in an entrance to your house or apartment. Why, well rugs help to clean dirt off shoes and most rugs can be easily cleaned whereas cleaning a carpet is often much more difficult. Rugs are cheaper to replace as well.

Cost can be another factor in choosing to buy rugs especially if you are renting somewhere. Why pay to cover a whole floor with a fitted carpet which is not easy to take with you. Rugs can easily be taken with you when you move. Another point is that you will have chosen your rug to match your furniture so when you move to somewhere new your rug still matches your furniture.

Whatever the reason for wanting a rug, make your choice carefully and your rug will last a long time.

Holidaying in south america rio de janeiro buenos aires and sao paulo

South America is a vast continent of jungles, rain forests and some of the world's most exciting cities. Miles and miles of fabulous beaches, soaring mountains and a passionate culture that thrives on music and dance make the region a must for a holiday.

Rio de Janeiro

Rio sits between lush mountains and the glorious beaches fronting the Atlantic and is a true city of the imagination. The pulse of the samba is rarely absent from this city in which every day is a celebration.

Climate

Like all of coastal Brazil, Rio is sultry and humid for most of the year. Summer temperatures hover around 28 C. The rainy season occurs from October to January. Winters in Rio feature temperatures of around 23 C.

Transport:getting there and getting away

Flights connect Rio with all of Brazil and Latin America, as well as many other major cities. Buses depart for most destinations from Novo Rio Rodoviaria.

City buses are often crowded and struggle through Rio's traffic. Rio has an excellent, air-conditioned subway system but it only covers points north of Botafogo.

Accommodation:from cheap stays to luxury resorts

Check on the internet for the range, location and cost of Rio de Janeiro hotels

Events:what's on and what's hot

*The Fiestas Junina's is celebrated in public squares throughout June.

*August 15 sees music, colorful stalls and a parade celebrating the Festa de NS da Gloria do Outeiro.

*Festa da Penha is one of the largest religious festivals in the city. It's held every Sunday in October.

Buenos Aires

With its fading architecture, grand boulevards and old-style cafes Buenos Aires seems like an European city of another era.

Transport:getting there and getting away

Buenos Aires is a major transport hub for the southern part of South America. The city has two airports: Aeropuerto Internacional Ministro Pistarni (known as Ezeiza), for international flights. Domestic and regional flights use Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (Aeroparque) which is just five miles out of town. Both airports can be reached by bus.

Getting around Buenos Aires is easy. The city boasts an efficient underground known as the Subte and a round-the-clock bus system. Plus the major tourist attractions are near each other so it's well worth exploring on foot.

Climate

Summers are hot with the temperatures reaching 40 C and winters can get very cold. Spring (October to November) and Autumn (March to May) are warm and pleasant. Rain can come at any time but it tends not to be heavy.

Accommodation:from cheap stays to luxury resorts

Check on the internet for the range, location and cost of Buenos Aires hotels

Events

Sгo Paulo

Sгo Paulo is the largest city in South America. It's also Brazil's most cosmopolitan and boasts pulsating nightlife, fine restaurants and an impressive cultural and arts life.

Transport:getting there and getting away

Sгo Paulo has three airports: Sгo Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport (GRU, for domestic and international flights) and Congonhas, (CGH, for domestic flights).

7 ways to stay motivated

You know what it’s like. You set yourself a goal, something you want to achieve. You are excited and ready to take on the world, and then a few months later you can’t even be bothered to spend 10 minutes working towards achieving it. Well welcome to being human! It is so easy to go from excitement to complete apathy but there are things you can do to ensure you stay motivated towards your goal and following are seven great ones!

1. Is Your Reason WHY Large Enough?

When I wanted to lose weight setting a goal to look great in clothes was not big enough, what didn’t help was the fact that I loved who I was and what I looked like, but my health had begun to show signs of being affected by my excess weight and this is the WHY I used to ensure I stayed on track. I started with 6 weeks of no diary, no wheat and red meat only once a week. Do you think I needed a big why to stay committed to such a regime??!! I knew that health is my true wealth. Having been unwell for 6 months and hardly able to walk had taught me that without my health my goals were useless. So maintaining a healthy body that would allow me to enjoy the fulfillment of my goals was the big WHY that kept me on track.

Stop and think about your reason WHY? What reason is big enough to keep you motivated at times when you want to give up and/or give in?

2. Create a visual and emotional image of what you want

Writing your goals down is an essential tool but not always enough to keep focused. Writing your goals down and having a visual image of you completing that goal adds fuel to the motivational fire. Writing goals down, having a visual image of your completed goal AND connecting this image with your emotions is the power of 3 that will ensure your motivation remains high. At any point during the day, or at any time when you are feeling in need of encouragement, you can simply stop, close your eyes, see your goal and evoke all the emotions achieving that goal holds for you. Nothing is more powerful!

3. Questions to ask before, during and after!

It is important to know not only why you are doing something but also WHAT. What achieving this goal will provide for yourself and your family. It is easy to believe that what you want is to make a million, but for many it is the lifestyle and the time freedom that this money has the potential to provide that will be the real motivation.

Spend time asking yourself questions that will help you identify what achieving your goal will provide. Questions such as:

•What will it bring me?

•What will it do for me, my family, and/or friends?

•What kind of lifestyle will I be able to have?

•What sacrifices will I need to make?

•What will be the impact on my current routine?

•What will be the impact on my family?

•What outcome do I want to achieve?

•What contributions will I be able to make

Motivation and staying motivated is easy when you know what the achievement of your goal will provide for you and we only really lose motivation when we lose sight of our goal or end result.

4. Creating a visual representation of what you want

Keep the motivational fires burning by creating a collage with the family of what your end result will look like, or paint a picture, write a poem, sing a song, or whatever creative endeavor excites you enough to complete it.

Whatever you create keep it in a place where you can see it constantly, I remember listening to someone talk about sticking a poster of making their first 100,000 on their ceiling so that as they woke up it was the first thing they saw each morning, and the last image in their mind before falling asleep.

Leave yourself reminders on your fridge door, on your bathroom mirror, in your car. The more places you are able to leave yourself little notes and reminders about what you want to achieve the better. Doing this will help your unconscious mind bring you the results you desire, whilst also supporting you in staying focused and motivated towards achieving your goal.

5.Get Support from people around you

Support from family and friends is important but also consider what other support is available to you. Books, mentoring, work colleagues, life coaching, forums – these are all things that can support you as you work towards achieving your goal. Also think about WHO can support you in staying motivated, can you buddy up with someone, do you have a boss or lecturer who will be happy to help you keep accountable.

One thing I recommend is that you tell as many people as you know about what you want to achieve, this has the effect of keeping you motivated to complete your goal because you have told so many people. However, a word of caution is needed here because it is easy for people to trample your dreams and fail to support you. You must first pick and choose carefully those people you know will want to support you, but also you must gain enough inner personal strength to be able to continue no matter what negative comments may come your way.

6.Develop Inner Personal Strength

Ultimately, the person who will determine whether you stay motivated and achieve your goal will be you. Your thoughts will determine your behavior which determines your results. Developing a strong inner personal strength about your ability to achieve and your ability to motivate yourself when you are in an unproductive state of mind is essential. Being able to see setbacks and failures as opportunities for continued growth and upset and emotional turmoil as opportunities to discover what you want and need, will determine how you view life. One of the best ways to inner personal strength is to read and listen to audios that inspire and motivate you. Continued learning is an essential part of being able to stay motivated.

7. Support from Continued Learning

If you are going to need to learn new skills to ensure you complete your goal then you it is a good idea to identify what learning you will need to undertake as early as possible. If you have planned out how you will achieve your outcome then you will already be aware of any areas where you need to strengthen your skills or out source to others who will be able to fulfill what you need.

There is nothing worse than getting halfway towards the completion of a goal and to be stopped because you are not able to complete something because of lack of knowledge and/or skills. This is a surefire way of dampening your excitement and your motivation.

Make a list of what you can and can’t do and who might be able to help you. Knowing this in advance can help you avoid getting frustrated because things aren’t getting done. If you are serious about developing your personal and professional life then I recommend getting yourself a Mentor or Life Coach, to ensure you stay on track.

You should also look at continued learning as it relates to your own personal development, continuing with your own personal development will ensure you are able to work through set backs quickly and stay motivated.

Staying motivated when you are looking to achieve your goals is essential for ultimate success. I have provided you with seven practical ways to achieve continued motivation and I recommend you use them all. Some of them such as creating a collage will be activities you perform occasionally, but others, such as continuing your personal development will be a continuous learning process. There is not one single thing that will determine your success in staying motivated but a combination of many, finding the combination that is right for you will change from goal to goal and will be an ongoing (fun filled) exploration.

Selling your mortgage note - fast and easy

In order to ensure a smooth note transaction, it would be wise, as a well informed note seller, to have the following documents available before submitting you note to a Note Investor for purchase. These are documents that you, your attorney, or your real estate agent should have on file from the sale of the subject property.

The documents are as follows:

Copy of Note

Copy of Trust Deed, Mortgage or Land Contract

Escrow instructions from real estate sale in which the "Contract" was created

Escrow closing statement from real estate sale in which the "Contract" was created

Title insurance policy which insures the "Contract"

Fire insurance information on the property which secures the "Contract" (Insurance Company, Policy Number, Agent's Name and Address)

Loan Payment Record (if possible)

Appraisal from the time of sale or thereafter (if possible)

Please provide two (2) pictures of subject property (if possible)

Copy of street or city map showing property location (maps. google. com)

Plans, surveys or other documents in your possession (if possible)

Tenant Rental Agreement (if applicabale - rental property note)

Once these documents are in order go forward with submitting your mortgage note for purchase to a note buyer. Usually with the more experienced note buyers you can fill a quick submission form online.

After submitting your note, it should take 48 business hours to receive a Soft Bid. The definition of a soft bid is; the preliminary dollar amount a note investor is willing to purchase, prior to verification of information.

Once the soft bid is agreed upon, the note investor does some preliminary investigating into the note info submitted (i. e. credit score, property value, etc). This usually takes 72 business hours.

The soft bid is subject to change if the original note info submitted is inaccurate. That is why it is very important to be as accurate as possible when submitting your note submission form in the beginning. This way nothing will change over the course of the underwriting period and you will get the money you need. The more detailed and prepared you are, the less you have to worry about!

Once the preliminary verification takes place the note investor will confirm the Firm Bid to the note seller.

Once the firm bid has been confirmed and all the above documents are in the possession of the note buyer , the underwriting process will begin. This includes, ordering drive by appraisal, checking title for liens, verifying all note info.

Closing instruction and date will be set up and the transaction is closed.

From front to Back, assuming all of above documents are in your possession, it should take 2-3 weeks to receive your check.

Being fluent in french

Listen to yourself say these French words:

Salut

Comment-allez vous

А demain

Bonne nuit

Adieu

How did you do in terms of pronunciation? Let's change the approach this time. Imagine you are talking to a French speaking person. Use these words in response to the French questions and phrases he throws at you. Were you able to remember these words easily? Were you able to use these words without so much difficulty?

They say the French language is one of the most difficult language to learn. This is the most common misconception of the many European languages. There is nothing more difficult than not trying at all. But let's all face the reality here. When one grows up as a person speaking an entirely different language, adapting and learning to another one such as French is going to be more than just a hobby. It's more like a lesson from school with daily or weekly assignments to answer.

Many students of the French language would eventually quit at the middle of a course because of the lack of confidence with themselves. They say the French language is just too difficult to say and pronounce when the French speakers struggle with the same mishap on the process of learning English or other languages. Fluency of the language is one of the reasons why learning is given up.

If you try to think about it, being fluent with a language doesn't really have a definite standard. As the word itself is defined as “spoken or written with ease”. It basically means when you are at ease in using and speaking the French language according to the best way you know how, you can go ahead and consider yourself fluent in this field. Though for others, you may speak a little too well of the French language or maybe not too good, what matters is that you know how to read, write, speak the and listen to French language without thinking so much about what it means in your native language.

It's as easy as saying you can survive one night of stay in a French community without having to check your dictionary or hiring a translator. As a French student, what you need to focus on at this point is the way you understand the language. Different people have different approach to understand the language and it is all up to you how you apply it for your own convenience.

online auctions are indeed popular places for trading goods and both merchants and consumers can sell or buy anything they want to. Advantages of online auctions include cheaper prices whereby one can find it hard to get items. You can even get the “past history” of users so as to evaluate the honesty and trading. Disadvantages are that the vendors may not be willing to ship overseas and those who are registered with the auction house may not be official businesses thus leading to a higher risk.

Online classifieds
These are similar to newspaper classifieds whereby you can locate hard to get used items or can get good discounts. But it is hard to find out the traders history thereby involving some kind of risk.

Portals
Portals are online shopping centers that gather a number of shopping destinations together at one single place. You have the option to choose and navigate from various shops that is much simplified. Again traders history is hard to evaluate that involves higher risks.

Manufactures and retailers
There are many online outlets for both small and large stores and manufacturers whereby you can buy directly from the retailer or producer and the best part is that a lot of information is available here. The main disadvantage is that you may not get the best deal possible.

Online games how to play to win

:
Learn how to improve your playing quality and even overall understanding of online gaming and how you perform while playing online. Gaming online is a huge business nowadays and that means that there are millions of people worldwide at online game sites all the time. Many are people just like you and me that like to play online and have fun doing it. Some of these people enjoy it so much, that they often do not even care about improving their skill and raising their chances of winning.

So Why Should You Work on Your Game?
Working on skills will not only help you improve your success while playing online games but will also give you higher self-esteem and a sense of achievement. And remember that the faster you master the easy games, you can turn to the more complicated ones and match your brain and skills against the real experts.

How to Improve Your Online Gaming Skills?
Online playing is different than just playing on your personal computer at home. While online, you have to pay attention to many different things that need to be taken into account, and I will detail these here:

1) Internet Connection: Pay attention to your online connection and make sure that the internet connection is strong and without any connection breaks. These can be done easily by trying to play a simple online game before moving on to the more serious ones. For example, play scrabbles or checkers online and then see how your connection works.

2) The Graphics: Check that your PC screen is strong enough to run the specific game you have in mind. Download the trial and play it on your computer. If you can't run or if it does not run smoothly, be aware that though the online version is less of a strain on the resources of your computer, the game might get stuck or stall from time to time. What can you do? Other than spending money on improving the hardware of your computer, the only thing you can do is to pick another game.

3) Limit your game time: One of the most important facts that young players tend to overlook is that they cannot play forever. The body needs sleep and even though it might appear or one might not feel tired, your performance drops as the hours pass by. It is important also to (if the game permits it) try and drink water while playing and not Coca Cola or Pepsi or anything else sweet or alcoholic. These will only make you more sleepy than before even if for the first few minutes it will feel as if they are invigorating you.

4) Game Plans: Have a look at how others are playing before you join the fray. Study the manner how the game moves and how others hide or move. Even if you end up playing against other players, eventually the nooks and corners of the game are similar. Remember that people tend to move in similar fashion so the whole point is to get a whiff of game movement.

5) Strategy: Look up different strategic models and systems offered and posted on the internet. Your players might use some of these and if you are aware of them it will be easier for you to block their moves.

Conclusion:
By preparing yourself for the online gaming experience you do not lose anything. In fact, it works quite to the contrary. Think of it just like in terms of playing at online casinos and not at game sites. You would not play for money without researching it before, would you?

Why is my bike so slow how to rev it back up

One of the attractive things about owning a pocket bike is the adrenaline rush that speed can bring on, feeling the wind whip around you whether it is alone on a private track or in the middle of a race. Pocket bikes were built to race, they were built for speed. A pocket bike is a miniature version of a Grand Prix moter bike, so this makes sense. These bikes can be customized to go 50, 60, or even 70 miles per hour!! The current world record, in fact, is at 72 mph. So what happens if you start your bike, and it just won’t hit those speeds you know it should be? What if your pocket bike is going too slow?

There are a few basic steps you can take to try and locate the problem yourself, and a brief explanation of how to go through each one.

1. ((It is important to note that you do this ONLY AFTER the bike has been turned on and warmed up already for a minimum of a few minutes)) Turn the air-intake on to open. You can find this behind the front wheel, close to the engine. This will give the bike more power.

2. Follow all the fuel tubes, and make sure none of them are pinched off anywhere. One single tube that is even slightly pinched can affect your entire performance.

3. Check the throttle cables. If they are too loose, the engine doesn’t get enough gas when you turn the throttle.

4. If this is your first bike, don’t push it. Pocket bikes need to be broken in. Don’t turn the throttle all the way for at least the first two gas tanks, if not three. In the long run, this will lead to better performance and more top notch speed.

5. Note: be very careful if you attempt the following. There is a gold screw, with a spring behind it, near the carburetor. This is the idle control. If you unscrew it by only half of a turn, it can also give you more power. If this screw is tightened too much, the bike will start then immediately switch off. If you make it too loose, the bike will jump and go as soon as you start it. Finding the balance is critical, and this is not recommended for beginners.

If none of these things help, make sure to take your bike to a professional to get it running again at its optimal performance.

Long term life insurance why get it

Long Term Life Insurance is term life insurance that is taken out for an extended period of time. Most term life insurance tends to be for a period of between one and seven years, but some people prefer a longer term cover. Insurance companies have responded to this demand by offering a new range of products that fall somewhere between whole life insurance and traditional term insurance.

Normally when people want long term cover, they purchase whole life insurance, which covers them for the duration of their life, and also builds a cash value. However, if you do not wish to pay the extra premiums that are associated with the investment, then perhaps long term insurance rather than whole insurance may be the way for you to go.

These policies may be referred to as “Permanent Life” policies, and can be set up so that they are payable on demise, or at a certain age. Long term life insurance really blurs the line between whole life and term life insurance, with policies often borrowing from both structures to offer the customer even more flexibility. If you do not wish to have an accruing cash value, then you don't have to. You can also stipulate whether you want the beneficiary to receive a lump sum payment, or monthly payments to boost income.

Unlike shorter term policies, long term life insurance does tend to be initially more expensive, though over the length of the term it may prove more cost effective than short term life insurance policies. Talking to your preferred insurance provider will give you a good idea of the options that are available out there. Then you can shop around and compare policies online, which will give you an even better idea of your options. The market is booming, so if you are looking for more flexibility in your life insurance, now is the time to look.

Newsweek journalist Jay Mathews devised the formula used by the magazine to determine which schools make the list. How to save money and get discount automobile insurance in oregon

Oregon drivers pay some of the highest automobile insurance rates in the country. This is why it is vital that Oregon drivers shop around and compare prices from several insurance providers, and not just the providers that some online insurance companies choose for you.

Oregon law requires that all drivers carry liability insurance. This insurance pays for injuries you cause to other people in an accident, and also pays for the repair of the other driver’s car or other personal property that was destroyed in the accident. There are several different levels of liability coverage for you to choose from; choosing the lowest level saves you money on monthly premiums but may not pay all costs of a major accident. If your level of coverage doesn’t cover all costs of an accident you may have to come up with additional cash out of your own pocket.

Oregon law also requires all drivers to carry what is called Personal Injury Protection (PIP). This covers you and any of your passengers for medical treatment, funeral expenses and loss of wages. Drivers can pay a deductible on the PIP coverage, reducing their monthly premium payments; the higher the deductible the lower your payments.

There is a third type of auto insurance coverage that all Oregon drivers are required to carry, and that is Uninsured Motorist coverage. This coverage pays the medical expenses of you and your passengers if you are in an accident with a motorist who does not have the required liability insurance.

Drivers looking for the least expensive automobile insurance in Oregon can purchase the minimums of these three types of insurance and be allowed to legally drive on Oregon roads. However, without additional coverage, such as Collision coverage, your insurance will not repair your vehicle if you are at fault in an accident. Also buying just the minimum insurance legally required in Oregon may leave you open to expenses that will have to be paid out of your own pocket in certain types of accidents.

Even if you are purchasing the minimum insurance required, it is still important for you to shop and compare (online) the rates of a number of different companies, as rates vary greatly from company to company.

Alternative home designs - atriums

Building a home for yourself is the American Dream. For some people, it is important to build something unique.

Alternative Home Designs

You’ve worked your rear end off and reached a financial status where you can do some dreaming. One dream is to buy some land and build a home on it. You’ve found the perfect plot, and now you’re wondering about different styles of homes. Here are some alternative designs to get the creative thoughts flowing.

A very unique home design is the atrium home. An atrium home is designed to emphasize an open middle area, not an exterior appearance. If you’ve been to Europe, you’ve seen this design in larger cities. You’ll be walking down a street lined with bland looking windows. You pop into one of the buildings to find a bathroom and it is like entering another world. The exterior of the building is no great shakes, but the interior is a slice of atrium heaven with an open area covered in a lattice or left wide open. The interior is a collection of sitting areas, plants and perhaps small pools for fish. Not a bad idea, eh?

Taking the design to its full scope, the home is designed…underground. The design can be done in a variety of ways, but it is built below ground to take advantage of geothermal concepts. The primary idea is to use the constant temperature of the ground to regulate the climate in the home. The top of the roof is flush with the level of the ground and everything else is below level. For practically purposes, picture an oasis in the desert, but dug into the ground.

In these modern times, the below ground design has some excellent energy options. You can put solar panels across the top of the roof to generate power and most people will be none the wiser. By being out of the wind, you also cut down on wasted energy.

Going below ground with your atrium home is a pool of creative opportunity. As long as you take care of drainage issues, the design parameters are pretty much wide open.

When space is at a premium or privacy is vital, atrium homes are often the answer. In a large city, an atrium design can help you create an oasis from the noise and madness of daily life.

Credit repair - how to deal with a credit bureau

Having good credit is an essential tool in today's economy - it allows you to have a credit card, to obtain car and house loans, and many other conveniences. While you can live without good credit, a bad credit rating will certainly affect you negatively throughout your life. The key to your credit rating lies with a credit bureau. There are a handful of credit bureaus in North America that handle all reports - positive and negative - from creditors to create a credit report specific to you. If you have a poor credit history, you must take steps to engage in credit repair, and one of the first and most essential tools is to learn how to effectively deal with your credit bureau.

Credit repair begins with determining which credit bureau holds your file. To do this simply look at any rejection letter from a credit application - the letter, in refusing you credit, will indicate which bureau proved the rating. The next step is to obtain your credit history. Keep in mind that legally it is always free to obtain your credit history if you have recently been denied credit, although many organizations will imply that it is not. The only time you should pay money for a credit report is if you want to receive it instantly, in which case credit bureaus will provide an instant online report for a fee.

When dealing with a credit bureau, understand that they are in the business of collection and selling information. For this reason, it is in your interest to never provide them with any information that is not legally necessary. Legally, you only need to provide a credit bureau with your name, social security number and legal address in order to obtain your credit report. The bureaus may request a copy of your social security card, and - if the address they have on file is different from your current one - a copy of something proving your address. Although they may ask for a driver's license to prove your address, send them a copy of a bill showing your address. The reason you want to be cautious when dealing with credit bureaus is that they own many collection agencies, and if you have a credit problem you want to give them as little information as possible with which to harass you with.

Once you have received the report, examine it closely for any errors. If anything is in question, send a written request for an investigation to the credit bureau. Legally, the onus is on the credit bureau to document anything on your credit report - if they cannot document it within 30 days, it must be removed. This is the basic strategy of many credit repair companies that charge exorbitant fees: challenge everything negative. In many cases if the negative item is more than a few years old it will be difficult to verify and the item will be removed.

By learning to properly deal with a credit bureau you can engage in effective credit repair that other companies change high fees for. By educating yourself as to the legal obligations of the credit bureau, you can, in many cases, repair your own credit quickly and effectively.

Public speaking - the key is in the body language. the 8 stages to a successful presentation

Most people have a fear of speaking to a large group. This is a totally normal apprehension. People may visualise the audience laughing at them, or shouting out. This is an extremely rare occurrence, unless you are a politician.

Most people listening to you are aware of the pressures you are under and would never change places with you.

These guidelines will help you to overcome your fears.

1. Know your subject. Read through your presentation beforehand. Read around the subject, so that you are confident that you know more than your audience, even after you have spoken. If you know your subject then you will come across in an interesting way and keep the attention of your audience.

2. Expect to do well. Your expectations are obvious in your body language. If your audience sees that you expect to do badly, you will do badly. Expectation is vital.

3. Look at your audience. Eye contact is vital if you are to judge their understanding so that you can change the pace of your delivery if necessary.

4. Use notes. You should never, never read your speech from a sheet.

5. Slow your speech down. This makes you appear more confident and enables your audience to take it in more easily. If you are talking slower, it is easier for your audience to maintain their attention, and momentary lapses in their concentration mean that they miss less.

6. Vary the tone and level of your voice. This maintains interest. You should speak clearly and project your voice, rather than shouting. Talking quietly in key segments means that your listeners will need to actively listen to those parts of your presentation.

7. Avoid excessive body movements and gestures. Hand gestures can be used for emphasis only.

8. Keep your hands and thumbs visible. Holding your hands out, with the thumbs uppermost is a very powerful dominance gesture. Watch politicians speaking, they all use this gesture.

9. Rejoice in the endorphin high that you will feel when it goes well.

Pet insurance

I don’t have to tell you that the cost of health care is skyrocketing. If you have been to the vet lately, you know that health care for pets is also getting more and more expensive.

Various and better treatment options are also available these days, and our pets are living longer because of them.

Pet health insurance has been available for a number of years, but is just now beginning to be more common. Pet insurance is more like major medical policies than the comprehensive policies most of us have. The pet health policies don’t cover routine office visits (although riders may be available from some companies) or immunizations.

You are free to use any veterinarian that you choose, and to opt for whatever tests or treatment you desire.

There are no co-pays. You pay the full amount then submit a claim for reimbursement.

Reimbursements are based on occurrence, rather than the treatment. Insurance companies selling health insurance for people usually set acceptable fees for procedures, and determine which procedures they will cover.

Most pet insurance policies will cover any procedure or test for illnesses and injuries that they cover. They will pay up to a certain amount for each occurrence of that injury or illness, up to the policy limit.

Certain illnesses may be excluded, as are any pre-existing conditions. The excluded illnesses and conditions may be breed specific and vary by company and policy.

Some policies have additional coverage for items such as accidental death of the pet, lost pet recovery, spay-neuter procedures and other extras. Some plans will charge the same premium as your pet ages (based on its age when you sign up), and others will increase as the pet gets older. Most companies have an age limit for beginning coverage.

There are two major carriers, offering a variety of policies. They are PetCare Pet Insurance ( petinsurance. com, 888-899-4875) and Pethealth Inc., owned by Petco. Pethealth offers insurance under a number of different names, including ShelterCare and PetCare ( petcareinsurance. com).

Premium costs range from $10 to $22 a month for cats, and from $11 to $75 a month for dogs, depending on age, breed and coverage chosen.

The American Veterinary Medical Association estimates that the average dog owner will spend just under $500 per year on vet bills. It is hard to know whether you will save money or not by purchasing insurance. Certainly in the case of catastrophic illness or injury the insurance could be of great benefit. Like all insurance policies, you purchase it in the hopes that you never need to use it, but you pay a lot of money “just in case”.

When deciding if pet insurance is right for you, consider the pet’s lifestyle. If it is mostly an indoor pet, the chances of it becoming ill or injured will be less than if it lives outside a great deal of the time.

One great benefit of having the insurance is that it will allow you to do more for your pet if it does become ill. The peace of mind you may get from having pet insurance may be worth the cost.

How soon can you refinance a new mexico mortgage after bankruptcy

How soon can you refinance a New Mexico mortgage after bankruptcy? Probably sooner than you think. There are lenders out there who will not be opposed to working with you immediately after your bankruptcy has discharged. Even so, waiting for a short amount of time could be to your benefit.

Refinancing Immediately After Bankruptcy

Though refinancing immediately after bankruptcy is possible, you will not be able to properly reap all of the benefits. With a fresh bankruptcy on your record, you are bound to be stuck paying a high interest rate. If the rate is any higher than the rate on your current mortgage, you may end up costing yourself more money. Unless you are facing foreclosure or need to borrow from your equity, taking time to rebuild your credit prior to refinancing your New Mexico mortgage is highly recommended.

Refinancing Six Months After Bankruptcy

If you started to work on repairing your credit immediately after bankruptcy, you should see some difference in your credit score within 6 months. If your credit score is high enough, this could be the optimal time to refinance. A New Mexico mortgage refinance after bankruptcy can allow you to start fresh with your mortgage, net you a lower rate, and give you a chance to rebuild your credit.

Refinancing Two to Three Years After Bankruptcy

Within two to three years after filing bankruptcy, your credit score should be back to normal and closer to the New Mexico average of 663. This means that you can qualify for conventional loan rates—currently at 5.63 percent. If you currently pay a rate of 8 or 9 percent, you stand to save an enormous amount of money over the life of your loan. Depending on the size of your loan, you could be saving as much as $100 to $200 every month. Just think of the extra cash that you would have to save, invest, or pay off other debts!

When can cheap mortgage protection insurance protect you

Cheap mortgage protection insurance is underestimated by the vast majority of people, despite the major impact it can have on individual homeowners’ lives. Many individuals who are set on purchasing home insurance to protect their belongings often fail to protect their home itself with cheap mortgage protection insurance.

As with every insurance policy, there are exclusions associated with the cheap mortgage protection insurance out there. Firstly, most providers understandably do not cover an individual homeowner if he or she should lose a job as a result of their own actions, nor if they tale voluntary redundancy. They will ask for information on redundancy claims and may not pay out if an individual was fired instead. However, involuntary redundancy is covered under cheap mortgage protection insurance policies if you have selected that option within your cover.

More and more companies are going out of business every year as a result of many industrial factors. It may be that a business relocates or that it is no longer making a profit. There are a variety of reasons why a business would make its workers redundant, and cheap mortgage protection insurance can help to soften the blow by covering any mortgage repayments and associated costs such as home insurance, typically for up to twelve months, but in some cases, up to 24 months’.

Individual cheap mortgage protection insurance policies may have waiting times attached to the terms and conditions. For example, some stipulate that a homeowner would have to wait for a calendar month before claiming. There are very few cheap mortgage protection insurance policies that come into force straight away. However, despite this exclusion, cheap mortgage protection insurance can most definitely come in useful in either of the situations above and should be considered as a solution to protecting an individual’s financial future.

Super foods for super health

We all hear about the many wonderful foods that are good to eat, and good for us. We always hear about eating fruits, and vegetables, and nuts. But that’s a big list to sort through, and wouldn’t it be simpler to have a few super foods that you can always turn to? To help you in your endeavors to lead a healthy lifestyle and a healthy life you can use the list compiled below as quick reference list of 9 super foods. These super foods and 14 others can be found in SuperFoods Health-Style, by Steven G. Pratt M. D.

Apples

Apples are a great food for many reasons including the ability to reduce the risk or heart disease, certain cancers, high blood pressure, and type-2 diabetes. They also benefit the respiratory system by preventing lung cancer and asthma.

By consuming apples your body gets fiber, potassium and antioxidants, such as Vitamin C and polyphenols. Studies show that the real benefit comes from the synergistic interaction between these ingredients.

To take best advantage of apples for your health, eat a wide variety and make sure that you eat the peel, which contains several times more antioxidants than the inside. As they say, eat an apple a day.

Avocados

When you want to help you body absorb more nutrients from the foods you eat, have an avocado too. Fat soluble phytonutrients, like beta-carotene, are more easily absorbed by the body because of the monounsaturated fat in the avocado.

Avocados also help you keep your weight down because they help you feel full, which triggers your body to stop eating. They are calorie rich at 48 calories per ounce, so for best results eat one-third to one-half an avocado two to three times a week.

Dark Chocolate

When you want a little indulgence with your health food, try dark chocolate. It contains lots of polyphenols which lower blood pressure and is a natural anti-inflammatory. You should keep in mind that blood pressure lowering qualities are only in dark chocolate, but not in its cousin, milk chocolate.

In 2000 a study published by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition showed that the affect on blood flow from high flavonol cocoa was similar to taking a low-dose aspirin. These means that dark chocolate could possibly be used to treat ailments like minor pains or headaches.

For the best results use Newman’s Own Sweet Dart Chocolate, as Dr Pratt has found it has more polyphenols than any other dark chocolate he has found. Like avocado, chocolate is high in calories, so shoot for no more than 100 calories a day.

Olive Oil

There has been much discussion lately about the benefits of the Mediterranean diet. Well olive oil is one of the main components of that diet and its benefits are outstanding. It is a great substitute for other oils and fats and has been shown to reduce the risk of breast and colon cancer, lower blood pressure, and improve the health of your cardiovascular system.

For best results take a tablespoon a day of extra virgin olive oil that is cold pressed and greenish in color. This green color helps you spot high levels of polyphenols.

Garlic

Another component of the Mediterranean diet, Garlic is great for your cardiovascular system. By eating garlic regularly you can reduce your blood pressure, triglyceride levels and your LDL(bad) cholesterol. Garlic also has anti inflammatory agents and antibiotic properties.

To grab all the health benefits of garlic eat one clove several times a week. Raw garlic is best, but cooked is good too. Keep in mind that dried garlic and garlic supplements don’t have the same benefits as fresh garlic.

Honey

Honey is not often seen on many lists of healthy foods, but don’t let that fool you. Eating honey daily increases the amounts of antioxidant in the blood, helps to prevent constipation, and reduces cholesterol and blood pressure.

If you are running low on energy, reach for the honey, not sugar. Honey does a better job of maintaining blood sugar and energy than other sweeteners. And choose dark honeys over light ones, because they are higher in antioxidants and flavor. One to two teaspoons several times a week should do the trick.

Kiwis

If you want extreme quantities of Vitamin C and E that can reduce risk of asthma, osteoarthritis, and colon cancer, and boost your immune system, then grab a kiwi or two. An interesting point to keep in mind is that dietary vitamin E appears to lower the risk of Alzheimer’s, and by consuming kiwis, you get vitamin E without the calories that most other vitamin e rich foods contain, like nuts and oils.

Another stellar ingredient is lutein, which lowers the risk cataracts and macular degeneration. To get all the above benefits and reduce the risk of blood clots, then consume one kiwi, two to three times a week.

Onions

For the benefits of onions, you can just reread the benefits of garlic, because they are pretty much the same.

Try to eat dishes containing onions at least three times a week, and make sure that you let the onion sit for 5 to 10 minutes after you cut it open. If you apply heat too soon you will deactivate the thiopropanal sulfoxide, which is the substance in the onion that gives us the most heart benefits. And remember the more pungent the onion, the better it is for you.

Pomegranates

Pomegranates are packed with tons of phytochemicals like potassium, which is great for lowering your blood pressure. Studies also suggest that pomegranates can slow the progression of prostate cancer and reduce the risk of atherosclerosis.

Instead of fighting with the little pulpy seeds to get your dose of pomegranate, try four to eight ounces of 100% juice several times a week. Be sure to stay away from juices with added sugar.

The 2005 porsche carrera gt

The Porsche Carrera GT is unofficially a racecar, one that is built for the street. What makes this a racecar is not necessarily the huge power produced by the V10 engine, or the carbon fiber construction that keeps it very lightweight - although these do make it a very fast car. It's more the sum of it's parts that make this car worth every bit of it's $440,000 price tag.

The Porsche Carrera GT was originally introduced as a 2004 model, and by 2005 there were a few changes due to make the Carrera GT the new porshce super car. The changes were only minor, just to make it a little more street friendly. In between the supplemental bar hoops there is now a glass screen. The seat's height were adjusted and there was more bolstering in the thigh area added. You cannot miss the Carrera GT, it's a low, sleek, lightweight roadster, just as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside. There are two removable panels that can be stored in the trunk for your bad weather protection.

There are unique features to the car, among which are the 5.7 litre, 605 break horse power V10 engine, the monocoque chassis with Porsche-patented engine, the transmission mounts made of carbon reinforced plastic, and the first use of a ceraminc composite clutch in a production car. An important aspect is that the carrera GT is safe and stable at speeds up to 205 mph, thanks to its aerodynamic and race-bred suspension package.

The design of the suspension is so sophisticated that the shape of it's components improve the car's aerodynamins. The designers of the Carrera GT used lightweight materials for it's substantial wheels and the frames of the special sports seats, the result being a faster and safer car. Just how fast is fast? Well, the carrera GT accelerates from a standing start to 62 mph (100 kmh) in just 3.9 seconds and reaches 100 mph (160kmh) in less that seven seconds, and 125 mph (200 kmh), in less than 10 seconds, it also can achieve a top test-track speed of 205 mph (330 kmh).

Porsche Carrera GT is definitely a exotic appearance, a car that can do it all: fascinate you with its good looks, and astound you with its performance and abilities on the race track.

Connecting the past and the present healing abandonment and abuse through awareness

Many people I work with in therapy or in my writing-as-healing classes discover stories that surprise them—stories about the mistakes they felt their parents made, power imbalances in the family, or stories about physical or sexual abuse. The darker stories are often a surprise: when writers sat down to write, those issues were not directly on their minds, but deep, revealing stories erupted from the pen. Though they were unexpected, for some they were a relief. People who have been in therapy have had the same kind of experience—the subject matter in the forefront of the mind is not the material that “accidentally” arises during the session. The therapy session begins with a particular subject in the present—for example dissatisfaction at work or trouble in a relationship, but often travels back in time with associations to parents, school, or past relationships.

It has become a clichй to talk about “dysfunctional” relationships and families, but most people do not have perfect families, and many have had to struggle with a range of problems—alcoholism, abuse—physical, sexual, or emotional, eating disorders, and depression, to name a few. No one likes to be reminded of the past but when it keeps coming up, we are pushed to learn new responses as we search for more peace and positivity in our lives.

The past is not dead—it’s not even past. - William Faulkner

Different kinds of abandonment

For people who have been abandoned, either literally by actual physical absence, or emotionally—a parent can be in the home and not there for us—the abandoned child syndrome may remain years later, showing up through insecurities and fears, clinging behaviors or its opposite—walls to intimacy. The abandoned child inside the adult can create havoc such as alcohol abuse, repeating their own abandonment by abandoning children, or refusal to have children out of fear of repetition. Depression, lack of energy and creativity, anger, and trying to fill up the emptiness may be manifestations of these issues.

When the abandoned child is feeling its pain and loss, the rest of the adult person is unable to find emotional balance. New skills are needed to help sort out the confusion, and to create new, healthier patterns. Part of the healing may include grieving and anger, as those repressed feelings are released. But it is equally important to look at strengths: how well you are doing and what you want to contribute to the world as well as the positive side of parents and caretakers. Most people do the best they can.

Healing is a process of peeling the onion, so to speak. Revealing one layer after another, with time for rest and integration, leads to inner peace, resolution, and forgiveness.

Here are some suggestions:

1. Write about parallels between the past and the present. Become more aware of old patterns finding their way into your current life.

2. List all the ways you feel you were abandoned. Don’t worry if the list doesn’t make logical sense or is too long or short. Just write what you feel and remember.

3. Look at photographs of you and your family from those time periods as a way to help you remember details. Becoming more aware of the past can help you sort issues in the present.

4. Write an “unsent letter”—do not send it!—to your mother, telling her all the ways you appreciated her.

5. Now write an “unsent letter” listing the ways she let you down. DO NOT send unsent letters in the exercise—these are just ways for you to help yourself to heal.

Do the same for your father.

1. Write about your intentions for today, this week—what do you want to change? What are you goals in your life now?

2. What are you doing well now, and how is it different and better than what you or your family might have done in the past?

3. What are your strengths? Name 10 things your friends would say are your best traits.

4. Write about how you are your best friend. How you take care of yourself and like yourself.

Antique wood cook stove - uses and advantages

Antique wood cook stoves can be found in many specialist stove restoration stores both online and offline, and are surprisingly popular even now in the early 21st century. Many stoves originally built in the 1800s or early 1900s are still used today having been fully restored and refurbished. The question is, why use an antique stove?

Firstly, we should explain exactly what a wood cook stove actually is. A wood burning cook stove is a traditional cooking appliance which requires no external electricity supply and which rather than using gas, electricity or other fossil fuels can operate purely by burning natural wood. This wood for your wood burning cook stove can be bought from a hardwood supplier or even chopped yourself from your own timber supplies.

An antique wood cook stove could be defined as one which is not just a piece designed for show or created simply to look historically accurate, but something which is original, did once work and preferably is still in working order today. Again though we are left with the question, why use an antique wood cook stove in preference to more convenient modern stove and cooking systems?

Firstly many antique stoves are bought by working farms, country and historic houses or simply to complete a period home or kitchen. In many cases antique stoves are used because they match the period during which the home or kitchen was first constructed, or because the absolute authenticity of all the fixtures and fittings in the building is a key selling point for a particular business. Many antiques are of course bought by museums for display purposes only, and many of these are not in working order.

Alternatively there may be practical reasons for using a wood cook stove, for example living in a remote location with no electricity supply but an abundance of natural resources to use as fuel. In this case some may prefer a more modern stove but many who choose to live in such locations will also choose to cook using the type of stove they have used all their lives, so should their stove need replacing they will actively seek out something similar. In addition some people say there is a particular taste to food cooked using a wood stove which would be difficult to replicate using modern methods.

Whatever the reason for buying an antique wood cook stove, the buyer must make sure they buy from a reputable company to ensure the stove meets all safety codes and regulations, unless it is simply to be used as a display piece. There are many government and local laws and regulations which must be adhered to when installing and using home appliances.

Get the word out promoting your home business

Choosing a bank

One of the most important things you will have to do (when it is time to do so) is to choose a bank. Your bank will be one of your most important financial tools and you should be sure that you are choosing the bank that best fits your needs. This article discusses some of the things you need to consider when choosing a bank.

You should, if possible, visit the banks in your area and speak with the new account's personnel. These are the people who know the bank's services best and they are usually very good at explaining their services. Most banks will have brochures that you can take with you and read at your leisure before making a decision.

One of the most important questions that you need to get an answer for is whether or not the bank is covered through the FDIC. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation insures your money up to $100,000. This is a government insurance program that protects your money from loss. If your bank is not backed by this program, you should find another bank.

You will want to know the types of accounts that the bank offers. You will also want to know if there are any monthly fees for the accounts and what those fees are. Many banks now offer free checking accounts. You may also want to know what their savings accounts are and how they work.

Another issue that is often important to consumers is availability. Does the bank have an ATM for you to use during off hours? Is there a charge for using the machine? Do they offer overdraft protection? These are just a few of the questions that will help you find the best bank to fit your needs.

In addition to the physical aspects of the bank you may also be interested in online banking. Many consumers find online banking to be very useful. Not all banks offer this service yet, so it is best to ask.

Other issues that you may want to look into include such things as the availability of debit cards. These cards resemble credit cards but they act differently. Debit cards actually take the amount of the purchase out of your checking account. There is no "credit" associated with them, even though they can be used in as many places as a credit card.

You may also want to know if the bank issues money orders and what they charge for those. Some banks will allow you to buy a certain number of money orders per month at discounted prices. The same question can be asked about traveler's checks.

Lastly, it is a good idea to work with the same bank that you imagine you might want to use for future home loans or car loans. Banks like to work with long time customers and they will usually work harder with their own customers than they would with someone who just walked off the street. If you are planning to buy a home or car, try to deal with the bank that can finance that future loan.

Alaska s king salmon - tackle and technique

The Alaska King Salmon is the official state fish and ultimate prize for any fisherman looking for the excitement of landing a big one. King Salmon in the world famous Kenai River are plentiful and huge. Sport fishermen in the Kenai have caught trophy salmon weighing nearly 100-pounds, and it’s not unusual for anglers to haul in 40 and 50 pounders. Thousands of people travel to the Kenai River and, with a licensed river guide, pursue its most prized bounty-- the King.

What do you use for bait? There are a few types of rigs that are best for attracting Alaska King Salmon. Spin-N-Glows, Vibrex Spinners, and plugs are three effective lures that usually provide optimum results. Two common fishing techniques used on guide boats on the Kenai are back trolling and drifting; while a third and relatively new method called back bouncing is also proving to be effective.

Back trolling usually incorporates Spin-N-Glows and salmon eggs or plugs. Some other effective lures for back trolling are Magnum Wiggle Worts, Flashtrap Spinners, Tadpollys, Kwikfish and Flatfish. In addition to the lure, you may also, depending upon the current, depth of the water, and location on the river, utilize divers, trolling weights, and diving lures. Baits that move erratically and rotate, especially those that create the illusion of a water creature in distress, will help attract salmon.

When back trolling, the guide has the boat work against the current, running the motor at the same speed or a bit slower than the river. This helps hold the boat in the same position on or to move slowly down the river. The boat should be moving downstream slower than the current while the lures are downstream ahead of the boat. Usually the bait moves close to the bottom of the river with a diver or weight attached 18 inches away from it to allow for proper depth. You’ll know you’ve got a King Salmon on your line when the rod goes down and stays down.

Drifting is similar to back trolling except the bait is allowed to gently bounce off the bottom of the river while the boat drifts with the current. Weights are used to keep the line at the correct depth. This technique is difficult to master since it’s not necessarily east to differentiate between a fish taking the bait and your line hitting off the bottom. A pause in the movement of the line often indicates a hit.

With back bouncing, the bait is bounced off the bottom as the boat is slowly backed over a hole. Sink-N-Glows, a Vibrex spinner or similar lures when properly weighted often yield good results. When fishing, if you feel a tug set the hook chances are there is a salmon there.

If using a plug, you’ll want to utilize K-15’s or K-16’s - you need something large. Divers work well to get the plug to the right depth and colorful, gaudy colors are recommended due to their ability to attract attention.

If you’re planning on fishing the Kenai River and can’t locate the right type of lure at home, don’t worry. Some of these items may not be accessible in your region of the country but bait and tackle shops throughout the Kenai have no lack of Spin-N-Glows, Vibrex spinners, Tadpollys, Kwikfish and more.

If you elect to book your fishing trip through a licensed guide, you’ll find that their knowledge, skill, and supplies will result in a less stressful and a more productive trip. When you go fishing for the Alaska King Salmon you want to exploit every opportunity you have to make your limit, enjoying some of the best fishing on this earth.

How to plan a great vacation

Making sure your vacation goes according to plan is not difficult to do, but it does need to be planed carefully.

First you need to decide where to go, this year I have decided to go to Holland for my vacation. Once you have decided where you want to go on vacation you can start to plan the things you want to see and do. In Holland I am interested in the Van Gogh museum, the Rembrandt museum and the Casino.

I have always enjoyed casinos, so this is going to be my first chance to go to a casino in Europe, so how can I pass up the chance to play some European Roulette, and I have been practicing at an online casino, ok I have to admit I have also been "practicing" poker and blackjack, please don’t tell my wife.

After you have figure out where you want to go and what you want to do when you are there you can get a feel for where you want your hotel to be.

There are many different websites that offer the best prices on hotels, so make sure to check several of them before making a final decision. Most of these sites will offer pictures of the hotel facilities and the different rooms.

After looking at the hotels pick the top 3 and do a search on the internet for them. Try to find reviews from people that have stayed there before. The hotels site is always going to tell you how great the hotel is, but if someone were annoyed enough to trash a place or tell you how great it was, then you can be pretty sure they are telling you the truth.

The first hotel I was looking at for my Amsterdam trip said it was close to the center of the city, in a nice area, but reading reviews from former patrons told me the area was filled with drug addicts and homeless, and this is not really what I want to see on my vacation, so I found a much nicer location. It is a little farther from the city center but it is near the museums we want to go to, so by being closer to them we can get up early walk to the museums and spend the rest of the time walking around looking at the shops and attractions inside the city's center.

Now all that is left is packing the right clothes. Unless you are going to someplace where the weather is always a constant, make sure to pack clothes for both good and bad weather. My trip is in a week and the weather is expected to me mostly sunny and in the 50's but there is a chance of rain so I will be packing a coat for the rain, ad extra socks just in case.

If you are gong to be in Europe and plan to visit a casino you should know that in Europe casinos are more upscale then in the USA. They will not let you in wearing your shorts a T shirt and sandals, most casinos require men to wear a tie and jacket or a turtleneck.

It is also always helpful to buy a travel guide for where ever you are going. Besides having helpful recommendations for things to see and places to eat, many of them offer discounts for attractions.

Well the only thing left is to go and have a good time, I know I will.
